Suu Kyi is going to China

Myanmar State Counselor Aung San Suu Kyi is going to visit China in international criticism on torture of Rohingyas in Rakhine state. Myanmar's army chief, Min Aung Haiyang, visited China earlier this year.

For a few months, raising concern over the persecution of Rohingya Muslims in the Rakhine state, China has continued to defend Myanmar all the time. Myanmar state daily Global Light of Myanmar said on Monday that Aung San Suu Kyi will soon tour China. In Beijing, the Communist Party of China will organize a program with world leaders. Suu Kyi will visit China to attend there.


China's state news agency Xinhua said that the program will start on Thursday. It will run till 3 December.
